Darsana Cultural Centre is guided by the rich legacy and values of the Congregation of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous religious congregation of India, founded by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara in 1855.
For over a century and a half, CMI has been dedicated to education, culture, social service, and human development. Today, with more than 2,000 members serving across 23 countries, the Congregation continues its mission of nurturing individuals and communities through excellence, compassion, and innovation.
Inspired by this enduring vision, Darsana Cultural Centre stands as a vibrant space for learning, creativity, cultural enrichment, and community engagement. We are committed to preserving artistic heritage, promoting talent, and creating meaningful experiences that inspire people of all ages.
